Adding ACIF Indexing Tags
Question:
I have a file I want to process using ACIF. The file contains index tags from an earlier step. Can I add additional index tags to the file by specifying the index values in my ACIF parameters?
Answer:
You cannot add index tags to data that already contains index tags. You can add index tags, using ACIF, only if no index tags currently exist in the input file. If the input file contains indexing tags, ACIF will generate an error message and the processing will be halted. An index object file can be created, using the existing index tags, if you run ACIF and do not specify any indexing parameters.
