Sharon, Ontario, January 30, 2012 - acadami®, the transaction document educators, announced today that the number of Transaction Document Specialist® School graduates has increased by 57% between 2010 and 2011, with more graduates in 2011 than in the previous two years combined.
Each graduate qualifies for acadami's Transaction Document Specialist Certificate. In addition, Transaction Document Specialists also normally qualify for the Xplor Electronic Document Associate (EDA) designation. To date over 80% of all EDAs have qualified through the TDS School.
Transaction Document Specialist School
The acadami TDS School is an intensive five-day training program consisting of three Xplor-certified in-class courses and online webinars that cover the breadth of the transaction document production process.
Students must achieve 85% on three exams during the week to graduate and earn the acadami Transaction Document Specialist certificate. "With the TDS School option, industry personnel learn the concepts, interconnections, correct vocabulary, and best practices in just one week - topped off by a certificate that is available only to School graduates," said William J. 'Bill' McCalpin, acadami registrar and co-founder. "As the Development VP at a large mail service provider recently told us, 'My people now develop more cost-effective solutions, make fewer mistakes, and take less supervision. The cost of training is trivial compared to the cost of inadequately trained staff.' "
"Not only do acadami courses enable newer industry members to learn transaction document production workflow, but existing EDPs can earn recertification credits," says Bill Broddy, former EDP Commissioner and acadami co-founder. "Xplor certified courses from acadami fulfill a critical need for continuing education and professional development."
