acadami™ announces Document Production Best Practices U.S. program

Richardson, Texas, June 9, 2008 – acadami™ has announced that they will be offering the new Document Production Best Practices course for the first time in the US in Boston, New York and Washington, DC on the week of June 23, 2008.

Xplor International has certified the Document Production Best Practices program and has authorized acadami™ to award a course certificate and one Continuing Education Unit (CEU) to attendees for successful completion.

The one-day vendor-neutral course focuses on the concepts, technologies, and best practices associated with automated transaction document production. The modules will take the student from data to doorstep.

The Document Production Best Practices program is the first course awarding CEUs that is approved for delivery in the field by Xplor International. acadami provided this course in five locations in Canada in May 2008, and 37 Canadian document professionals were awarded one CEU each after satisfying the attendance and exam requirements.

The Xplor Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Regions will sponsor the initial East Coast courses at the following venues:

Boston, June 24 Conference Center at Waltham Woods
New York, June 26 CUNY Graduate Center
Washington, June 27 Washington Board of Trade

The new program was developed by and will be taught through the collaboration of industry experts Bill Broddy edp, William J. ‘Bill’ McCalpin edp, and Michael Turton edp.

“With the arrival of color and personalized messaging in Document Production, it is critical that industry professionals stay abreast of the latest technologies and best practices,” said William McCalpin, course instructor. “This course provides an intense one-day exposure to bad, acceptable, and best practices in 2008.”
