TransPromo Summit Signs HP as Worldwide Sponsor

(Weymouth, MA) July 1, 2009 – InfoTrends, the leading worldwide consulting firm for the digital imaging and document solutions industry, announced today that HP has signed as a worldwide sponsor for the 3rd annual TransPromo Summit and the inaugural European TransPromo Summit. The TransPromo Summit will take place August 13-14, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency Boston in Boston, MA and the European TransPromo Summit will be held October 6-7, 2009 at Square Brussels Meeting Centre in Brussels, Belgium.

“TransPromo, or the blending of promotional messages into transactional documents, is a technology whose time has come,” stated Barb Pellow, Group Leader, InfoTrends. “HP technology is beneficial in the deployment of TransPromo communications initiatives and we are pleased to have their participation in our US and European educational forums.”

“HP is leading the digital transformation of printing by offering customers exciting new ways to be creative, save money, improve productivity, and stand out,” commented Jan Riecher, vice president and general manager, Americas Graphics Solutions Business, HP Imaging and Printing Group. “We are excited to showcase our holistic approach to transpromo solutions, which includes the new HP Indigo W7200 Digital Press and new HP Inkjet Web Press, as well as HP Exstream.”

The TransPromo Summit events are the only educational conferences to focus exclusively on the TransPromo opportunity. With the upcoming US event marking the third TransPromo Summit and the addition of the inaugural European event, the TransPromo Summit has become a well-known and revered educational resource for the printing industry. The events will bring together vendors, print service providers, and corporate marketing executives and users for 2 days of information sharing, insight into best practices through real world examples, and peer-to-peer networking. In addition, attendees will be able to meet with industry-leading vendors and service providers during the dedicated technology showcases.

The HP sponsorship is composed of contributions from: HP Exstream; EDS, an HP company; as well as the Indigo and Inkjet High-speed Production Solutions divisions of the HP Graphic Solutions Business.
