HVTO Industry News

The Electronic Document Systems Foundation (EDSF), the non-profit organization dedicated to the document communication industry, announced the appointment of its executive committee, directors, and advisory board members (see attached for complete list). Serving a two year term, EDSF's executive committee includes:

"We are honored and fortunate to have dedicated individuals in place to lead the Foundation," said Jeanne Mowlds, EDSF Executive Director. "The team brings tremendous leadership and expertise from the most important segments of the document communication industry. They will provide significant strategic direction to the Foundation's present and future success."

The EDSF board welcomes three four new directors: Guy Gecht, President and CEO, Electronics for Imaging (EFI); Jeffrey Hayzlett, President and CEO, Hayzlett and Associates, Sue Tidswell, Senior Vice President, RR Donnelley, and Stephen D. Poe, Secretary/Treasurer, Xplor International (Please see attached for complete biographies)

In addition, five new advisory board members were added, bringing a diverse knowledge base to the Foundation. Joining the advisory board for the first time are Sami Hero, Vice President, Product Marketing, SAP Global Marketing, Inc; Kim Herren, Senior Vice President, DST Output; Carol Kraft, Chief Operation Officer, IPMA; Steven Veach, Vice President, Bank One Corporation, and Dana Wison, Vice President, nSight, Inc.

Biographies for New EDSF 2003 Directors

Guy Gecht is Chief Executive Officer of Electronics For Imaging, Inc., the world leader in enabling networked printing solutions. His key initiatives include increasing EFI's market penetration, diversifying the company's product offerings, undertaking strategic acquisitions, and introducing new services that will drive demand for digital printing worldwide.

Jeffrey W. Hayzlett is the President and CEO of Hayzlett & Associates, Inc., a business development and public relations firm specializing in the graphic arts, technology, and communications industries. He also serves as a founder of the Great Plains World Trade Center, a company providing venture capital and business development to companies in the Upper Great Plains of the United States by facilitating international business.

Sue Tidswell is Senior Vice President and Director of Customer Communications Services for R.R. Donnelley Financial, of RR Donnelley & Sons Company. RR Donnelley Financial provides financial printing, document creation, and information management to mutual fund companies, banking, and insurance companies worldwide.

Stephen D. Poe is Secretary/Treasurer of Xplor International and Chief Executive Officer of Nautilus Solutions, a strategic consulting group. Nautilus Solutions focuses on "Helping management turn technology into profits(tm)" for enterprise software vendors in both North America and Western Europe. In addition to serving on the Xplor International Board and Executive Committee, Mr. Poe serves on the Advisory Board of Kaplan Apparel Enterprises.
