New Océ device brings high-tech color printing options to the office

The Océ VarioLink 2222c MFP offers printing and finishing features that enhance communications

TRUMBULL, CONN. February 4, 2010 — Océ, an international leader in digital document management, introduced today the Océ VarioLink® 2222c multifunctional printer. This device, designed to meet the color or black & white printing needs in the office, represents the next generation of color multifunctional devices. With a large array of versatile printing options, this system can excel in a broad range of office workgroups, from those with heavy color content to those who print in black & white.

The Océ VarioLink 2222c MFP offers smart features that give users total flexibility. Mobile wireless printing can be accomplished via an optional Bluetooth® connectivity kit while printing and scanning with a USB thumb drive is convenient with a standard front-panel USB port. In addition, a customizable print driver interface allows users to add commonly used print settings on the opening screen.

Superb image quality, high performance and seamless network integration are some of the other features that set this device apart. This system features print speeds of 22 ppm in black & white and color, simplex or duplex to meet most office needs. At Océ, security does not come at the expense of productivity. Hard disk drive overprint, HDD encryption, PDF encryption, IP address filtering, SSL encryption, port blocking, secure print and password protected user boxes are just some of the standard security features on this device.

The Océ VarioLink 2222c device also offers advanced finishing options, including folding, stapling, and booklet making. This can also handle media sizes from 5.5" x 8.5" to 12" x 18" and up to 100 lb cover stock from the bypass tray.
