Langenhagen, Germany – 17 February, 2014 - Senior appointments have been announced for Konica Minolta’s new production printing user group PROKOM, with Andy Barber, General Manager of imail, UK Mail, becoming the first chairman.
Mr Barber joins the new board that also has Sara Grande, Vice-President Marketing, Orymu Graphic Arts, Madrid, Spain; Harald Büttner, Managing Director, Schnelldruck Fürth, Weiden, Fürth, Germany; and Etienne Van Damme, Deputy General Manager, International Marketing Division, Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe, Langenhagen, Germany, as a non-voting representative.
Mr Van Damme said: “Other appointments are expected to be confirmed in the near future, but we are still welcoming any applications from other users to join the board, as well as members in general, to further assure an efficient and successful operation of this important business community.”
He added: “I’m delighted to be taking a pro-active role to make this customer community successful with a clear set of goals: to provide a forum to firstly share information and experience, secondly, to network , and last, but not least, to engage with Konica Minolta management about the future design, functionality and technology direction in production printing and related services.”

PROKOM is an independent user group community that has been founded and launched by Konica Minolta in February 2014. Members are being invited to join this production printing community of Konica Minolta bizhub PRESS users. PROKOM members will have the opportunity to actively engage with Konica Minolta about their priorities for future design, functionality, technology and services.
