National Print Owners Association Recently Surpassed 400 Members
Melbourne, FL – In less than 18 months, the National Print Owners Association (NPOA) has grown to more than 400 members, according to NPOA President Jace Prejean.
“NPOA was founded by print business owners who felt strongly that there was a need for a new trade association,” says Prejean. “It is an organization actually run and managed by printers and one that is working towards the common good. To enlist more than 400 members in less than 18 months shows that the need indeed was there.”
According to Prejean, annual sales for typical NPOA members range between $400,000 and $3.8 million. The average annual sales of NPOA members is currently $1.2 million, and the median sales is $750,000.
“We are continuing our outreach efforts to attract new members to NPOA and are constantly expanding the support and services available to association members,” says Prejean. “Printers interested in learning more about the association and the benefits available to members should visit our website at www.printowners.org for details, costs, and signup information.”
NPOA is dedicated to delivering products and services that enhance the growth and profitability of its small commercial print members including advocacy, educational programs, publications, research, and the sharing of technical information. Since its founding in mid-December 2012, it has reached the 400-member mark with a goal of 450 by the end of 2014. The Second Annual NPOA Spring Owners Conference was held February 27 to March 2, 2014 in Fort Lauderdale, FL and attracted 150 members, vendors, and guests – an increase of 15% over 2013. The 2015 National Owners Conference will be held in Orlando, FL from Thursday April 16 through Saturday April 18 at the Buena Vista Palace Hotel overlooking Downtown Disney.
