In Sunday’s letter, HP rejected Xerox’s “intent on forcing a potential combination” by issuing threats. The response was, “We will not let aggressive tactics or hostile gestures distract us…” HP’s response let Xerox know that ‘It’s YOU, not us’ who are responsible for stalling the deal.
